首先我向各位家長簡單介紹一下英語學科的特點，英語是一門環(huán)環(huán)相扣的學科，如果你以前沒有學好英語，那相對來說，你現(xiàn)在的英語學習就顯得比較吃力;同樣地，如果你現(xiàn)在不學好英語，那將來的英語學習就會變得難上加難，這樣長期以往，必將積重難返，所以為了孩子們的將來，為了能讓他們在輕松的環(huán)境中學習成長，我們的家長們要和學校一樣，重視孩子們的英語學習，學好英語我們也要從娃娃抓起?，F(xiàn)在小學英語，細心的家長發(fā)現(xiàn)小學英語的詞匯量與語法知識點相對是比較多的。所以孩了們只有現(xiàn)在打下良好的基礎，才不會導致英語越學越難、越學越差。對于三年級的學生而言，英語學習是處在同一起跑線上的，但經(jīng)過半個學期的學習，學生與學生之間已經(jīng)有了些差距。一些好的學生學習興趣濃，學習勁頭足，課堂上積極思考，踴躍發(fā)言，課后及時鞏固，形成了良性循環(huán)的好勢頭。他們的學習習慣好，在聽、說、讀、寫方面都能齊頭并進，家長和老師都會因此感到欣慰?？梢灿幸恍W生，平時學習馬虎，基礎不扎實，平時下的功夫也夠，導致他們現(xiàn)在課上所講的內容不易接受，甚至聽不懂，還有極個別學生的書面作業(yè)拖拉不交，對于老師布置的口頭作業(yè)更是置若罔聞，如此一來，學習自然成了件頭痛事，麻煩事。其實，大部分的學生在英語學習上還是處于中間層次，老師所教的，所布置的作業(yè)能夠基本完成，但學習的效率會因人而異，存在著個體差別。盡管他們平時不需要老師操太多的心，費太大的力，但是說起各方面的表現(xiàn)，又總有一絲遺憾，我們總希望他們能夠再上一個臺階。
怎樣才能幫助孩子學好英語呢?我們老師是最直接的知識傳授者，有著不可推卸的責任。在此，我們只是真誠地希望我們的家長們配合學校，配合老師，靠我們共同的努力來幫助孩子學好英語。用一句時髦的話說就是：我們要和孩子共同成長。為了培養(yǎng)好孩子，為了讓孩子們學好英語，我就必須重視孩子們良好的學習習慣的養(yǎng)成。作為他們的英語學科的教學者，我給各位家長就孩子學習英語提出以下兩點建議，以供各位家長參考。
1、讓孩子多聽錄音。在少兒英語教學中，首先是加強聽力訓練和說話訓練，然后才是讀寫能力的培養(yǎng)。聽說能力差，用英語進行交際的能力差，為此，家長一定要配合學校來要求孩子，要創(chuàng)造條件讓孩子多聽，多聽純正的錄音，聽幾遍、聽清楚了以后，跟著說。三年級的英語學科考試中聽力成績就占到了70%的比例，不能聽的英語也就成了聾子英語，沒有任何應用價值，也和我們的素質教育目標背道而馳。
2、讓孩子大聲說英語。家長每天要留出20分鐘左右時間讓孩子讀讀英語，不管當天有無英語課。我們要鼓勵孩子大聲地朗讀、對話、問答，大聲說，不害羞，這樣有利于清楚地表達自己，也有利于他人糾正自己的錯誤。不能大聲說出來的英語就成了啞巴英語。這樣的話，英語作為一種交流手段也就失去了應用價值，也違背了讓孩子們學習英語的初衷。
因此，請大家在家里督促孩子保質保量地完成英語作業(yè)，該讀的讀、該說的說、該寫的寫、該記的記，及時鞏固，養(yǎng)成良好的習慣。家長的行為將會起榜樣的作用。孩子一般還沒有明確的學習目的，這時，家長對學習的態(tài)度，特別是行為，會極大地影響孩子。千萬不能縱容自己的孩子第一次說：英語好難，我默寫不出來。就任由他去。你讓你的孩子知道：今天，你花更多的時間去養(yǎng)成好習慣，明天，你就可以更好，更輕松。今天，你偷懶了一會，明天,你的作業(yè)就會更多。累積下來，你就是欠債最多的人。

依稀記得，懵懂孩提，恍如昨日，一算命先生對母親說：這個孩子長大后會是一位教師……記憶中只覺得那位算命老先生指點江山，揮斥方遒的樣子很好笑，熟料，他的這句讖語卻成了我一生追逐的夢想。
也忘不了大學的第一堂課，講授古代文學的王教授說了這樣一段話：你們將來從事的是語文教師的職業(yè)，為人師，必有為師之德，也必有淵博的學識，希望你們樹立學科自豪感，靜以苦讀，動以創(chuàng)新，踏踏實實做人，認認真真做學問……

1、我們深知：教師的愛一種一日為師，終生為父最高尚的愛。教師的愛又完全等同于母親的愛。她不是一直攙著孩子走路，也不是把孩子抱在懷里，而是把學生裝在心里。教師不僅要把學生看作是他們自己的兒女，傾注全部的心血，關注學生的身心的健康。教師還在他們合適的時間、在合理的場合下及時給孩子們指點方向，所以教師的愛是開導孩子們心智的愛。教師的愛就是用自己的汗水辛勤耕耘，不斷澆開一朵朵美麗的心靈之花的高尚的愛。
