全英語讀后感篇1
it is known to the entire world that little women by louisa may alcott is one of the representatives of feminist works. this paper analyzes feminism embodied in josephine’s view on love in little women. in the introduction of the paper, i will talk about the background, literature review and my writing perspective. as for the body part, in chapter one i will analyze josephine’s character from many examples in the story; in chapter two i will give a comprehensive analysis of josephine’s view on love, which mainly covers the love choice she made and the reasons of the choice; in chapter three, i will analyze feminism reflected form josephine, including the aspiration for freedom, the desire for independence, and the worship of true love. in chapter four, i will discuss the enlightments and limitations of josephine’s feminism in modern times. at last in the conclusion, i will give a brief summary of this paper.
even if having the small flaws, little women is still an undoubtedly great work. it put eyes on women’s growth, fights and efforts to realize the value of life in a patriarchal society. even in today, it still has realistic values for modern girls to learn.
through the daily lives of march sisters, louisa drew a vivid picture of the life of temporal american pioneers, especially jo. she impressed us by her goodness, honesty, insistence…and her precipitancy, rebellion… she’s like a close friend to us, and as well an inner spirit of us.
in order to get closer to this work, i’ve talked about the social background at that time, louisa’s family history, literature review and the definition of feminism; and then to figure out the reasons of jo’s choice, i’ve analyzed jo’s personality, the process of jo’s choice and the reasons of it, so i not only had a clearer impression of jo, but also got a deeper understanding of her choice; at last in order to learn the feminist spirits from jo, i discussed some extraordinary feminist qualities of jo and got some constructive tips and suggestions about feminism for all the girls.
after finishing this work which is definitely a masterpiece in history, i’ve learned the importance of freedom, both physically and spiritually, without it, i think i even can’t live well; and also i’ve known the value of independence, there’s no one can accompany and help me forever, so being independent can make me live better and feed myself just on my own; last but not the least, i’ve also been reminded with the preciousness of true love which makes people truly happy from the bottom from the hearts.
reading little women can be an enjoyable thing, to seek the peace in the blatant, and to seek an aim in the hesitation. we can learn so much from this book. over a century passing by, the glory of this book doesn’t vanish, instead it becomes more excellent, and it connects people generation by generation.

the hero of the novel, oliver's birth, his mother died, and no one else knows who his father is, so oliver was born into a homeless orphan. although the orphanage took in oliver, the orphanage was not good enough for the children inside. the children inside were often starving, and only when someone came to check it, did the orphanage do it. compared with olivier children now is simply too happy, they do not know the well-being of the world, everyone is the home of the bully, the hands of parents treasure, not getting what you want is crying. the child was crying parents coquetry age, olivier has tasted the well-being of the world, to learn the independence.

orphans are children who have no parents, so they live in orphanages. today, lets take a look at a book about orphans - oliver twist.
the protagonist of this book is a poor orphan. his name is oliver. his mother died as soon as he was born, so he was taken to the orphanage. but that orphanage is not a good place, because the director there is very bad to the orphans, the orphans hate him. the supervisor also apprenticed olivier to the coffin shop. in the coffin shop, olifi was abused, so he fled to london. as a result, he was brought into the den by the thief "smart ghost" and was forced to embark on the ship. fortunately, with the help of mr. brownlow and miss ruth, olife successfully escaped from fagin and others, and let the police turn over the den. menx also tells about the life experience of olifi: menx and olifi are actually half brothers. however, olifis father had passed away, and his property was divided between his two sons. since then, olivier has lived with mr. brownlow······
the author dickens wrote "oliver twist" wonderfully, and the plot is also very dangerous, so it attracts the readers at once, and makes the readers mood change with the plot of the story.
there is always a dark side to life. however, the light will always prevail over the dark, there will be countless "mr. brownlow" and "miss ruth" to help those in trouble. i also want to learn from them: try my best to help others, and always have a good heart.
全英語讀后感篇5
in the summer vacation,i read the call of the wild.this book is the work of jack london,an american writer.
at that time, the united states was still in the initial stage of capitalist development.people rushed to the north pole to find gold.therefore, many sturdy dogs are needed to pull sleds.
this book describes the hero buck, who is also one of the dogs sold to the north pole.when he just arrived at the north pole, buck witnessed his companions being attacked by local dogs and died miserably.it also felt the cruelty of the big stick for the first time, and since then it has believed in the rules of 'big stick' and 'sharp teeth'.after several changes of ownership, buck fell into three men and women who were not suitable for exploring in the arctic.just when buck was about to get into trouble with them,a man named thornton saved it.thus, buck gradually had a good impression on him and pulled thornton back from the edge of death three times at the risk of his life.because thornton was killed by indians, buck tore the indian's throat crazily in order to pay for his master.finally,he returned to nature.
buck is a strong man in the novel.its heroic performance and strong posture now and then float before my eyes.if we want to have a foothold in this society,we must learn to have a tough life will, tenacious survival ability and resourceful survival like in this way can we survive in this society.
at the end of the book, the author wrote: "it opens its throat and sings a song of the original young world,a song of the wolf." how majestic and heroic this sentence is!
this is the legend of a dog, buck!
" he sings a song of the younger world, which is the song of the pack." (chapter vii the sounding of the wild) when the last sentence vanished from my eyes, i can still perceive an echo of a song - a wild song, which knocks up my dizzy mind that always cheerfully sink into the so-called civilized world without questioning. wild, is no longer a symbol of the law of jungle but a headspring where streams out love, passion, bravery, loyalty, friendship, venture, competition and tolerance all these virtues can easily be found in the call of the wild.
jack london (1876-1916) is a worldwide renowned novelist. his stories successfully reflect the contradictory views of man’s nature and destiny in and against the wild, and his "fight to survive" notion has gained him and his works timeless popularity, particularly, the call of the wild.
it tells a story of a gigantic dog, named buck, who is stolen from a rich and comfortable home and forced to learn to survive as an alaskan sled dog. buck, at first, is too savage for the company of man until he coincidently encounters his beloved master-kindhearted john thornton. finally, john’s incidental death breaks buck’s last tie to the man and drives him into his long-desired wild with his pack. in the story, buck and john simply adopt themselves to answer the call of the wild. when it comes to buck’s mind that one day he will eventually leave john- his master, all he wants to do is just to help him finish the gold-rush-trip. he " from then on, night and day, never put a halt, in desperation, he burst into long stretch of flight, did not to stay him (john)…" (chapter vii the sounding of the wild) buck wished to remember john’s image forever, he "for two days and nights never left camp, never let thornton out of his sight. he followed him about at his work, watched him while saw him into blankets at night and out of them in the morning…" (chapter vii) when i read these words i just could not hold my tears bursting. can a real man devote himself to loyalty and friendship in such a way? on the other hand, john thornton is not only a dog-lover but also a brave and venturous man. he is so straightforward and simple that makes him an accommodating man. once he firmly roots a goal into his heart, it seems that nothing could prevent him from accomplishing it except death. i do not know whether the persistence is the most vital element to make a man successful, but what i know is that you are not far away from success once you occupy it.
it is jack london who plunges me into the animated wild from the hustle-and-bustle and from desperate city. there, i merely cannot deny the attraction of buck’s bark, which enlightens me to pursue another lost half of the nature in mankind, and to dig out a true meaning of life. dare we imagine that london intentionally employs buck to set us a model with perfect characters (count barbarity out)? the answer is affirmed. we, as animals, are from the wild but shedding off more and more wild signs, which demonstrate us as the "uncivilized"。 however, who can fully guarantee that we have not overlooked some essential wild-endowed virtues? especially, nowadays, it seems more crucial for us to stop looking at the post-industrialized world and to ponder for a while. when cheats, betrayals, lies, lusts and crimes stuff a materialized society, whether london uses this novel to help himself escape the reality or warn the earthy people, to us, modern man, is all the same.it appears horrible that in modern society many people are enthusiastically talking about how to build up "special relations" to the authority, deceiving and lying to each other.
to them life is a mask-wearing process rather than a hard work. every time, you browse webpages, scandals in politics, business, the entertainment circle and even on campus crowd into your eyes. oh, what is the essence of human beings? what is the civilization to us? do we need to look back at where we came from? is it good or bad for us to speak out what we think and to do what the consciences demand us to? are we wasting talents given by the mighty nature? be an honest, straightforward, warmhearted, emotional and responsible man or be a shrewd, cold hearted and astute hypocrite? while embracing the "civilized" rubbish, we are losing those good virtues, which are the calls of the wild. once we lose them, we are to lose ourselves, and we will get nowhere. i wish this dreadful thought is totally a fallacy, but, now, it is chilling me hard.
one day when i happen to stand on the top of a grand mountain to observe a boundless prairie enveloped by the sapphire firmament and combed by gusts of the rhythmical west wind, a morning sun sprinkles me her warmth and brilliance in a graceful way, however, at that moment, i am afraid that i cannot appreciate these beauties, i am a lost " civilized man" then.

" 'gone with the wind' is absolutely a good book that is worth sampling repeatedly, the characters are graceful , the plot rises and falls, exciting boldly and unconstrainedly, though the subjective factor because of the author among them , the appraisal on u.s.a.'s civil war is not objective and overall, but as to angle of literature, this one fine piece of writing generation definitely absolutely, worth visiting.

as many other fairy-tales, the outline of the little prince is not very complex. i, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the sahara. in this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the asteroid b612. the little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. in that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.
